Virtual Jazz Cafe Thursday 12 November 6pm - 7pm

Dear All,

I would be really grateful if you can publicise the forthcoming Jazz Cafe. This will comprise of an excellent series of jazz workshops and a performance/recording opportunity for all students in Hampshire who would like to take part (students will need to be grade 5 and above).

The Virtual Jazz Cafe is being delivered in partnership with Hampshire Music Service and Barton Peveril Sixth Form College and takes place next Thursday (12 November) from 6pm - 7pm. It is completely free and all musicians will be able to take part online from the comfort of their own home.

All resources are now accessible via an online link in the attached letter below. There are high quality workshops for voice, frontline instruments, piano, guitar, bass and drums. The sessions focus on an excellent arrangement of Chaka Khan's version of 'A Night in Tunisia' covering key stylistic features and improvisation.

Also attached are the biographies of all the tutors delivering the workshops; all exceptional in their instrumental field.
