Apologies if you are receiving this for a second time, but I have just found out that most of our blog subscribers have not been receiving email notifications for them.
So, if this is the first blog you've received, welcome... and sorry! May I recommend that you briefly catch up with what you've missed (since 13th of January at least) by clicking on the Blog button at the top of the page. They are mostly very short, so shouldn't take long!
I'm delighted that we will have at least a dozen colleagues attending our Network Meeting next week. From those signed up so far, we have at least 2 attendees representing each GCSE board (AQA, Edexcel, Eduqas and OCR), as well as BTEC Music Practice/Performing Arts, which will make the final part of the session really valuable. It's not too late to sign up and remember IT'S FREE! You will only need to arrange a couple of periods of cover. And there will be cake!
Follow this link to sign up.
Those at the meeting will also meet Jordan Nyari, our new Music Technology specialist. Jordan will introduce himself, talk a little about the support on offer, and be available for discussions. Jordan can offer a range of support to schools, such as ideas on how to develop your current Music Technology offer in both key stages, CPD for teachers wanting to improve their knowledge and capabilities, advising on different platforms (including both free and paid-for options), helping overcome software/network issues, and providing resources to use in your curriculum.
If you can not attend next week but have any questions for Jordan, you can reach him at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Have a lovely weekend and look forward to seeing lots of you next Friday.
