Composing opportunity and KS4 data reminder

Hi! Just a quick note to advertise a wonderful composing opportunity, and a final plea for your KS4 data.

The Martin Read Foundation is excited to announce its annual scheme to support young composers, 2023.

Scheme '23 provides opportunities for writing for professional cellist Joseph Spooner, 1-1 mentoring, workshops with other composers, public performance, recording and to be part of the MRF Festival '23.

Hear more about the work and impact of MRF at our recent radio interview, which went out on Sun 6th Nov from 4pm. Listen on-line at: Unity101 Community Radio.

Deadline for applications for the Jan - April '23 scheme: 5pm Fri 30th December '22.

Please forward the attached information (link below) to your aspiring composers (14 - 17) ASAP.

Some venues and timings are marked TBC - these will be finalised once the award-holders have been confirmed, for their easiest access.

We look forward to receiving their applications!

Thank you to those that have responded already, but I'd really appreciate as many of you as possible completing the form with your exam data. It should mostly be a case of copying and pasting from your internal school data analysis documents, so shouldn't take up too much of your time! Click on the link below to the Google form.

Hope you have a great weekend!
